1. Detailed description of goods and/or services
Socrates Menswear is a business in the clothing and textile industry that wholesales and retails menswear.
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within three business days and delivery confirmed by way email.
(for e.g. booking number / booking voucher etc. and must mention the use of courier and/or postal services and associated costs, if applicable.)
In the event of a return, please contact us at enquiries@socrates.design.
Please ensure that the shirt has all its labels and original packaging, along with the receipt and/or delivery notice. We will be happy to exchange or refund the shirt within 30 days of purchase.
After 30 days and up to 90 days, you can return the shirt for store credit. We do not accept returns after 90 days.
Please note that a 10% processing fee will apply for all exchanges and refunds. Refunds will be processed on the 10th of the month following the refund request and clearance.
We respect your privacy and undertake to protect your private information to the best of our ability. We will keep the private information required for executing your orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely your personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers, in the strictest confidence and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product.
We further undertake that we have taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payment for goods sold. We cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on your electronic device (personal computer or other electronic device used to browse our website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that you
may inadvertently have installed on your device.
5. Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.
6. Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Socrates Menswear via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
7. Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Socrates Menswear separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za
8. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
9. Responsibility
Socrates Menswear takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods
10. Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Socrates Menswear chooses South Africa as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
11. Variation
Socrates Menswear may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
12. Company information
This website is run by Socrates Menswear based in South Africa trading as Socrates Design.
